How do I turn off the annoying timer that keeps flashing up I can get into timer menu but can find off button

Anything i say is my opinion you can take it or leave it

If there is a timer, it is because you created it. To remove a timer is the same as removing anything else, for example waypoints or routes. When the list of timers is showing, either slide your finger to the side on it (iOS) or press and hold on it (Android) to reveal a Delete button.

Thanks Tim i will give that a go i kept pressing the cross on the end but being a timer it keeps coming back :>
i don't remember creating any timers though
